 2021 Merlot and Mouhtaro – Dry Grown & Hand Picked

Merlot (70%) A dry, medium to full-bodied wine with moderate acidity and soft tannins combined with:

Mouhtaro (30%) A wine with deep purple colour, aromas of ripe red fruits and spices, a full body, silky tannins and a pronounced acidity providing a wine with great complexity:

A deep ruby red colour, complex flavours and aromas of red berry, black cherry and florals of cherry blossom and sweet spices like cinnamon, providing a lingering aftertaste.

Enjoy with Beef, Lamb, Veal, game, mature and hard cheeses.

Merlot vineyard (Royat formation) was planted in 1992 at 280-320m altitude with 2-3% gradient.

Mouhtaro vineyard at the Southern slopes of Helicon Mountain (top of 1280 meters high), in Muses Valley at 380-420m altitude

The vines per HA are 4400.Dry Grown-The vineyard is not irrigated. The average yield is 9000 kgs/Ha. (3.5 Ton/Acre
